TOWN OF GOSHEN

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Goshen for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Goshen, 41 Webster Avenue, Goshen, New York 10924 where it is available for inspection by any interested person during regular office hours.

 

The Town Board of the Town of Goshen shall hold a Public Hearing on said Preliminary Budget on October 12, 2023 at 7:00p.m. or as soon thereafter as the public can be heard.  At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of, or against, or for comment on the Preliminary Budget, or for or against or comment on any item or items therein contained.

 

The following are the proposed fiscal 2024 salaries of the elected Town Officers of the Town of Goshen:

ELECTED OFFICIAL’S SALARY SCHEDULE – 2024

 

Town Supervisor                                                                      $   90,263

Town Council  (4)                                                                     $   18,411

Town Clerk                                                                               $   90,494  (incl. stipends)

Superintendent of Highways                                                    $ 100,787

 

Receiver of Taxes                                                                      $ 10,405

Judge (2)                                                                                    $ 45,031
