Public Hearings

1. Introductory Local Law No. 5 of 2023 amending Chapter 49 (“Construction Codes, Uniform”) of the code of the Town of Goshen to omit typographical errors and amend provisions to ensure consistency and clarity.

2. Introductory Local Law No. 7 of 2023 amending Chapter 86 (“Taxation”) of the Code of the Town of Goshen to Provide for the collection of a Hotel/Motel room occupancy tax.

Items for Discussion/Action

1. Review and discuss the Town of Goshen 2024 Tentative Budget. Following the discussion the Town Board need to approve a 2024 Preliminary Budget to be presented to the public on October 26, 2023.
2. Review and approve Resolution for the Town of Goshen to provide for the collection of a Hotel/Motel room occupancy tax.
3. Review and approve Resolutions to make Duck Farm Rd. and Partridge Lane a one way.
4. Review and authorize the Supervisor to sign the Stormwater Construction Completion guarantee in the amount of $490,294.99 to ensure completion of activities related to a stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) and Maintenance Guarantee in the amount of $6,000.00.
5. Review and authorize the Supervisor to sign Change Order No. 3 for Salesian School Demolition.
6. Review and approve Resolution Authorizing Application T-Mobile Hometown Grant.
7. Discussion and update on Watershed 50
8. Discussion of LEGOLAND Host Community Fee distribution of funds. (A – 75% and B – 25%)
9. Accept the resignation of Part-time police officer Michael Olivo effective September 25, 2023.
10. Review and approve the September 13, 2023 minutes.
11. Discuss a system for public notifications.
12. Discuss and approve Dog Enumeration by the Town Clerk for a total of $1,941.90.
13. Discuss and approve a notification to all water districts advising that a $450.00 fee will be assessed if the appointment is not made within 30 days of the date of the notice to install the cellular reads. Furthermore, a $450.00 fee will be assessed quarterly until an appointment is scheduled and meter is installed.
14. Discuss and approve the addition of a 5^th and 6^th quarterly billing cycle to 2023 in the water/sewer billing year in order to bring the billing cycle to a calendar year for 2024.
